Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description
An issue exists in the mt7915 driver where the
mt7915 pci init hif2() function is called unconditionally and then called again within the WED-inactive branch. This results in the global hif idx being incremented twice, the PCIe RECOG ID register being written twice, and a device reference being leaked via mt7915 pci get hif2() because the removal process only drops a single reference. This specifically affects non-WED dual-hif hardware.Recommendations
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
