Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description
An issue exists in the mt76 wifi driver regarding RX data queuing for RRO 3.0. RX data released from a RRO data queue is incorrectly handled, leading to frames being left on the data queue list instead of being moved to the indicator queue. Because the indicator queue NAPI (New API for network device drivers) only polls skbs (socket buffers) queued on the
MT RXQ RRO IND list, this behavior causes RX data to stall and reorder.Recommendations
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
