Description A memory leak exists in the SDIO TX path of the mt792x wifi driver. The issue occurs when the tx prepare skb() function returns an error, causing the socket buffer (skb) to remain unreleased. This typically happens when zero-length frames, such as WNM NULL frames, are dropped to avoid potential hardware TX hangs.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
