Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description An issue exists in the md/bitmap component where the backlog store() function suspends the array before verifying the existence of a write-mostly device. If no such device is found, the error path only unlocks the reconfig mutex, leaving the array in a suspended state, which blocks subsequent I/O operations.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
