Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description
In the drm/panthor component, the system fails to verify if
vm bind mappings of user-mode exposed Buffer Objects (BOs) intersect with the address space carve-out reserved for mapping kernel BOs. Additionally, the vm bind ioctl path did not sufficiently prevent the range from overflowing a 64-bit unsigned integer before invoking GPUVM functions. This lack of validation occurs during the vm bind process, which is handled via the vm bind ioctl.Recommendations
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
