Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description
An issue exists in the RDMA/cxgb4 driver where the
write tpt entry() function fails to release a STAG index when write adapter mem() returns an error. The function allocates a new STAG index using c4iw get resource() and increments stats.stag.cur before programming the entry. Because the Memory Region (MR) is not inserted into rhp->mrs upon failure, the index is not reclaimed during deregistration, leading to a resource leak until the device is torn down.Recommendations
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
