Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description
An issue exists in the RDMA/cxgb4 component where the
write tpt entry() function fails to properly manage the preallocated skb (socket buffer) during fatal error states or allocation failures. This leads to a memory leak of mhp->dereg skb when c4iw dereg mr() ignores the error, or a double free when c4iw get dma mr() frees the skb after it has already been consumed by dereg mem().Recommendations
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
