Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description A kernel BUG occurs within the nilfs copy dirty pages() function, which is responsible for copying dirty DAT file folios or pages to the shadow page cache. The issue is triggered when a retrieved dirty folio or page unexpectedly loses its dirty status. This happens because the dirty flag can be cleared asynchronously after the filesystem detects metadata corruption and transitions to read-only mode.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
