Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description
An issue exists in the
pinctrl: mediatek component where the mtk eint do init() function creates an IRQ domain, populates it with mappings for every EINT line, and installs a chained handler on the parent interrupt without releasing these resources. When drivers are used as modules and are unbound or removed, it results in a dangling IRQ domain, interrupt mappings pointing to freed memory, and a chained handler that continues to execute using that freed data.Recommendations
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
