Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description
An issue exists in the
int3400 thermal driver where the evaluate odvp() function creates per-ODVP sysfs files before the thermal zone and other probe resources are registered. Because the unwind path only calls cleanup odvp() during late sysfs failure, failures occurring after evaluate odvp() but before that specific label—such as failures in thermal tripless zone device register()—result in ODVP files and storage remaining in the system.Recommendations
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
