Description
An issue exists in the
ad5686 DAC driver within the Industrial I/O (IIO) subsystem due to a missing NULL check on match data. If a user binds the driver using driver override via sysfs with a device name that is not present in the id table or of match table, the chip info pointer becomes NULL, potentially leading to a system crash.Recommendations
