Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description An issue exists in the drm/v3d component where Buffer Objects (BOs) were only attached to the last job in a submission chain. When the final job is a CACHE CLEAN job, preceding RENDER or CSD jobs are left with a bo count of 0, failing to acquire necessary implicit dependencies during synchronization in the v3d submit lock reservations() function. This allows a job to be dispatched to the hardware and read a BO while another context is still writing to it, resulting in data corruption.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
