Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description An issue exists in the drm/msm component where msm ringbuffer new() attempts to destroy a partially initialized ring via msm ringbuffer destroy() during allocation or scheduler setup failures. If the drm sched init() function fails before completing the scheduler initialization, the failure path incorrectly calls drm sched fini(). This teardown process assumes that the scheduler work items, lists, and workqueue state have been fully initialized, which can lead to instability.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
