Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description An off-by-one error exists in the TXF key sanitiser within the iwlwifi module. The function iwl mvm frob txf key iter() incorrectly calculates the memset start offset when a full key match is found. Specifically, it uses i - keylen instead of i + 1 - keylen, resulting in the zeroing of one byte before the match while leaving the final byte of the key unsanitised.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
