Description An issue exists in the arm scmi firmware component where the mailbox chan setup() function fails to properly release resources. When the function requests an additional unidirectional TX receiver channel after successfully acquiring a primary channel, a failure in the second request causes the function to return immediately. This leaves the primary channel allocated, which can result in the channel remaining busy during subsequent probe attempts.

Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
