Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description An issue exists in the arm scmi firmware component where a failure during IDR insertion occurs after a successful transport channel setup. In this scenario, the error path destroys the transport device and frees the channel information without triggering the transport cleanup callback. This prevents the consistent release of transport-specific resources, including IRQs (Interrupt Requests), mailbox channels, and mapped shared memory.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
