Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description
An issue exists in the RDMA hfi1 driver where the
hfi1 init dd() function allocates shared AIP/VNIC RX support. If the hfi1 init() or hfi1 register ib device() functions subsequently fail, the init one() function removes device data without executing hfi1 free rx(). This sequence results in a memory leak of netdev rx and its associated dummy netdev.Recommendations
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
