Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description A double free issue exists in the r8a66597 probe() function within the USB gadget driver. When the usb add gadget udc() function fails, the execution flow jumps to err add udc, which frees the ep0 req variable. The process then continues to clean up2, where ep0 req is freed a second time if it is non-NULL. A double free occurs when the same memory location is freed twice, which can lead to system instability or memory corruption.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
