Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description An issue exists in the gdsc unregister() function where it fails to call pm genpd remove() for individual generic pm domain structures registered by gdsc init(). This omission leaves dangling entries on the global gpd list. Consequently, during a provider unbind/rebind cycle—such as deferred-probe replay during early boot, module unload of a clk driver owning GDSCs, or an OF-overlay tear-down—subsequent calls to gdsc init() attempt to re-register a name already present in the list, causing pm genpd init() to return -EEXIST.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
