Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description
An issue exists in the
register aes algs() function where the AEAD algorithms are registered before the skcipher algorithms. If the skcipher registration fails, the function attempts to unwind the AEAD registration using crypto engine unregister aeads(), but it incorrectly passes ARRAY SIZE(algs), which corresponds to the skcipher table size instead of the AEAD table size.Recommendations
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
