Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description An issue exists in the rk hash run() function where the driver fails to properly handle the poll result when waiting for RK CRYPTO HASH STS to become idle after the final DMA transfer. If the hash engine does not become idle, the driver incorrectly reads the digest registers and finalizes the request using a previous success value instead of reporting a timeout error.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
