Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description
An issue exists in the hardware Elliptic Curve Diffie-Hellman (ECDH) path within the
atmel ecdh compute shared secret() function. The function uses a private key stored in the device, but the public key is only cached after atmel ecdh set secret() successfully generates that private key for the current Trusted Firmware-M (TFM). This allows the device to potentially use a private key that was not generated for the current TFM.Recommendations
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
