Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description An issue exists in the QAT reset worker where SR-IOV re-enable work is queued using a work struct and completion embedded in an on-stack adf sriov dev data. If the completion wait times out, the reset worker may return while the device sriov wq still holds or executes the stack-backed work item, potentially leading to memory corruption as the stack frame unwinds.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
