Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description A race condition exists in AXIDMA and MCDMA interrupt handlers. The issue occurs when multiple descriptors are queued and active, and an interrupt fires after completing only some of them. The function xilinx dma complete descriptor() moves completed descriptors to the done list, but the channel may be incorrectly marked as idle. This triggers start transfer() while the active list still contains unprocessed descriptors, leading to premature transfer attempts, potential descriptor corruption, or missed completions.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
