Description A heap-based buffer overflow exists in the Core Libraries, which allows for overflow buffers. A heap-based buffer overflow occurs when a program writes more data to a heap-allocated memory block than it can hold, potentially leading to crashes or arbitrary code execution.

Recommendations Update to version 7.7.0.1 or later for versions in the 7.4.0 range. Update to version 7.3.1.6 or later for versions in the 7.0.0 range.
