Description A local privilege escalation issue exists in the updater of Foxit PDF Editor/Reader. The problem occurs because the updater unsafely loads dynamic-link libraries (DLLs)—which are shared libraries used by multiple programs—from a directory that can be written to by a user during high-privilege operations. A local attacker can exploit this behavior to execute code with elevated privileges.
