Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Drupal Webform versions 6.2.x through 6.3.x
Description The Webform module does not sufficiently restrict access to the custom attributes YAML editor. Users with permissions to create or edit webforms, but lacking permissions to edit the webform source, can add custom attributes. This flaw allows for stored cross-site scripting (XSS), a technique where malicious scripts are permanently stored on the target server and served to other users. Approximately 436,300 instances are identified globally.
Recommendations Update Drupal Webform to a version newer than 6.3.x.
