Description A flaw exists in the RTAS (Run-Time Abstraction Service) firmware-to-OS interface. An attacker with root access to a logical partition can send a specially crafted request to the partition firmware, resulting in a partition crash and loss of availability. This issue does not impact other partitions on the same managed system.

Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
