Description
An untrusted pointer dereference issue exists in the Altera Trusted Firmware on HPS, which allows for the exploitation of improperly configured or implemented memory protections. This flaw enables secure-memory corruption at Exception Level 3 (EL3) due to an unchecked SDM mailbox response address.
Recommendations
Update Altera Trusted Firmware on HPS to a version later than socfpga v2.14.0.
