Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
NanoSVG (affected versions not specified)
Description
An incorrect numeric conversion occurs in the rasterizer's
nsvg addActive() function. A specially crafted SVG document with excessively large geometry coordinates can cause fixed-point-scaled edge coordinates to exceed the range representable by an int. The rasterizer converts these values to int without range validation, which leads to undefined behavior and potential process termination, resulting in a denial of service.Recommendations
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
