Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description
An issue exists in the SPI core where a controller operating in target mode does not abort active transfers during system suspend. This failure to terminate ongoing transfers can leave the hardware in an inconsistent state, which may lead to system hangs or failures during the resume process. The flaw is addressed by invoking the
target abort() callback within the spi controller suspend() function when the controller is in target mode and the callback is registered.Recommendations
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
