Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description A race condition exists in the PCI subsystem for Rockchip platforms when stopping and removing a root bus. The system fails to hold the pci rescan remove lock lock during this process, which can lead to conflicts with concurrent rescan or hotplug operations triggered via sysfs. This flaw may result in use-after-free issues, where the system attempts to access memory that has already been released, or complete system crashes.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
