Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description An issue exists in the thermal driver for Tegra SoC where the tegra soctherm remove() function fails to call thermal cooling device unregister() for registered cooling devices. This results in the thermal framework's cdev list maintaining references to thermal cooling device objects whose ts pointer refers to memory already freed by the platform device's devm cleanup, leading to a use-after-free scenario during driver removal.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
