Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description
The omfs module fails to properly handle
set blocksize failures. This occurs because omfs utilizes buffer heads, which do not effectively manage block sizes larger than PAGE SIZE. Consequently, attempting to mount the file system triggers a BUG ON(offset >= folio size(folio)) condition within the folio set bh() function during the initial bread gfp() call.Recommendations
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
