Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description
An issue exists in the
drm/amdkfd component where the allocate sdma queue function fails to perform bounds-checking on the restore sdma id variable. This variable, which allows the specification of a System Direct Memory Access (SDMA) queue ID and is utilized by CRIU (Checkpoint/Restore In Userspace), must be verified to ensure it is less than the maximum number of available queues to prevent potential memory access errors.Recommendations
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
