Description
An out-of-bounds access issue exists in the mac80211 wifi component. In Neighbor Awareness Networking (NAN), the
info->band variable is set to NUM NL80211 BANDS because the transmission band of the frame is unknown. This causes an out-of-bounds access when the ieee80211 add tx radiotap header() function attempts to access the sbands array.Recommendations
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
