Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description An issue exists in the chips-media: wave5 component where the handle dynamic resolution change function is called within initialize sequence without properly acquiring the state lock, violating the requirements of lockdep assert held. Additionally, the functions v4l2 ctrl find and s ctrl can sleep and must not be executed while a lock is held. To resolve this, the fbc buf count should be stored separately, and the control should be updated after the lock is released.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
