Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description An issue exists in the s390 crypto subsystem regarding the handling of the EBUSY return code within PHMAC. When a request is transferred to the crypto engine via the crypto transfer hash request to engine() function, both EINPROGRESS and EBUSY signal a successful transfer. Previously, the system failed to correctly handle EBUSY, which could lead to improper processing of requests pushed to the crypto engine.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
