Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description An issue exists in the ipv6 flowlabel get() function where an ipv6 fl socklist entry is allocated for every successful GET request. The recheck path for a compatible existing flowlabel links another lease without applying a lease admission check, allowing repeated GET requests for a single shareable label to grow a socket's lease list without bound, potentially consuming excessive host memory.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
