Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description
An issue exists in the octeontx2-pf driver where HTB offload programs
NIX AF TLxX TOPOLOGY are applied to QoS-allocated scheduler queues using the otx2 qos txschq set parent topology() function. During teardown, these queues are freed without clearing the TOPOLOGY settings. Because the AF only restores PARENT and SCHEDULE on free, settings such as PRIO ANCHOR and RR PRIO can persist in the shared scheduler pool, potentially affecting subsequent allocations.Recommendations
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
