Description An issue exists in the corsair-cpro hardware monitoring (hwmon) driver where the ccp debugfs init() function registers debugfs files before the hwmon device register with info() function is called. If the hwmon registration fails, the ccp probe() function returns while the debugfs files remain active. Subsequently, the HID core frees the ccp memory, but since ccp remove() is not executed during a failed probe, the files are not removed. Attempting to read these files results in a dereference of a freed pointer, which can lead to a system crash.
