Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description An issue exists in the BPF (Berkeley Packet Filter) subsystem where the is branch taken() function fails to distinguish between BPF JMP and BPF JMP32 comparisons. This leads to incorrect branch prediction when processing comparisons such as if w1 != 0, causing the jump to be reported as always taken even when it may not be.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
