Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description
An issue exists in the ipvs component where the
hton seq() function receives arguments in reverse order during version 1 sync sender operations for both sequence blocks. This error results in 24 bytes of the kmalloc-backed message remaining unwritten, which can lead to the disclosure of stale heap data and the replacement of the live connection sequence state with values read from the buffer.Recommendations
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
