Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description
An issue exists in the
ethosu accelerator driver where the command stream parser incorrectly interprets bits 15:14 of NPU SET {IFM,OFM} PRECISION as an activation storage mode on U65 hardware. While this field selects the storage mode on U85 hardware, it represents the rounding mode on U65. This misinterpretation causes command streams requesting natural rounding to fail during CMDSTREAM BO CREATE with an -EINVAL error. Additionally, truncating rounding is misread, leading the system to select an incorrect two-tile address path and calculate an invalid feature map size based on unset tile bases.Recommendations
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
