Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description
An issue exists in the drm/gud component where the driver fails to validate if
GUD ROTATION 0 is present in the supported rotations bitmask. When the drm plane create rotation property() function is called, the rotation argument is set to DRM MODE ROTATE 0 and the device reported rotation bitmask is used as the supported rotations argument. If a device omits GUD ROTATION 0 from its GUD PROPERTY ROTATION, it triggers a WARN ON(rotation & ~supported rotations) condition within the drm plane create rotation property() function.Recommendations
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
