Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description An issue exists in the RDMA/srpt component where the srpt alloc rw ctxs() function fails to properly reset counters during an error unwind path. When a failure occurs during a multi-buffer indirect descriptor allocation, the system destroys RDMA contexts but retains stale n rw ctx and n rdma values, as well as a dangling rw ctxs pointer. This leads to incorrect send queue credit subtraction during accounting in the srpt queue response() or srpt write pending() functions.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
