Description An issue exists in the drm/msm component where retiring a hung submit during recovery occurs before the GPU is recovered. This sequence triggers the freeing of Buffer Objects (BOs), which can lead to GPU pagefaults because the GPU may still be actively accessing those BOs. The flaw is located within the recover worker() function.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
