Description
The ImageValidatingPolicy evaluator fails to process the
spec.images and spec.allowedValues fields within a PolicyException. When a PolicyException matches a resource via policyRefs and matchConditions, image signature verification is skipped for the entire resource instead of only for the specified images or values. This allows unsigned or untrusted images to be admitted to the cluster, as an exception intended for a single trusted image inadvertently exempts all images on the matched resources.Recommendations
Update Kyverno to version 1.19.1.
