Description A missing capability check in a routine that outputs stored remote storage settings into admin pages occurs when the site is in a specific post-migration state. This allows any authenticated user, including those with subscriber-level privileges, to retrieve sensitive credentials for configured backup destinations, such as passwords and secret keys.
Recommendations Update UpdraftPlus: WP Backup & Migration Plugin to version 1.26.8 or later. Update UpdraftPlus: WP Backup & Migration Plugin to version 2.26.8.26 or later.
