Description A stack-based buffer overflow occurs in the parse advertisement frame() function of the devdiscover Service. This issue allows a remote attacker to manipulate the service, potentially leading to a system crash or unauthorized code execution.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the devdiscover Service to minimize the risk of exploitation.
